Katipunan Walk

I wanted to try drinking tea at the Moonleaf Tea Shop so I asked my friends, Julius & Janpol to come with me. Yes, it was my first time. After hearing about their delicious offers here in the blogosphere, it's about damn time I try it. We went to Moonleaf Katipunan so we could roam around there after we have some talk and tea.

I ordered the Wintermelon Milk tea with pudding. I love it! Pakak ang lasa! Hindi lasang puno. Ha ha ha!

Now I know why the other bloggers and also some of my friends are addicted to Moonleaf. Sarap pala kasi talaga and their space is really nice! Simple pero comfy and classy. Hinahanap-hanap na ngayon ng lalamunan ko lasa ng Wintermelon Milk Tea with pudding! Wish ko lang talaga magkaroon na sila ng branch sa Intramuros so I could go there whenever I have looooong breaks in school! Moonleaf, can you hear me? *u*

After Moonleaf, we went to Fullybooked. It's so lapit lang from Moonleaf! Onting kembot lang andun ka na!   Grabe, Fullybooked Katipunan is so full of books!(Of course, duh? Bookstore nga eh kaya maraming books! Ha ha ha) What I mean is, their shelves are stacked with good books that other bookstores/other branches don't have. I even found a Keep Calm & Carry On(the little pink book) there and an edition of  The Chronicles of Narnia which I've never seen before! I wanted to buy all the interesting books to read that I've found there, but I just had to stop myself from buying books since I already got a haul of books in here that are waiting for me to read them. But I promised to myself that I'll go back there! It is a MUST. I should go make a Reading List for 2012 already!

Julio wanted to drink coffee at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf which is just beside Fully Booked. I love how all the nice stores, cafes, restos and shops are just near each other in Katipunan! I'm deeply amazed. So sad that Katipunan is so far away from our place! Ugh.

At CBTL, we can't decide on where to eat so we just strolled and see what Katipunan has to offer for us. We walked from CBTL to Shakey's! How's that? Ha ha ha. Sa Shakey's din pala bagsak namin! Funny. We wanted to try eating in Flaming Wings and in Chicken Charlie but for some anti-social reason we just kept on walking. There are a lot of choices on where to eat in Katips! Like BonChon, Red Mango, Yellow Cab and many more(Ha ha. Can't remember them all, eh)! There's also Mcdo and KFC, ooh fast foods.

Each of us ordered the Bunch of Lunch. Omnomnom! We also ordered Wings 'n' Rings which consist of Buffalo Wings, fries and Onion rings. Share-share dapat kami dun but Janpol and Julius got so full already so I was the one who ALMOST finished it pero di ko na rin kinaya!

Photo from Shakey's

Going home, we walked so fast that we were almost running because we were so afraid. The street was kinda dark kasi even with the street lights from Shakey's to the Katipunan LRT station. Ang FIERCE lang namin that time! Ha ha ha. Handang-handang lumaban if ever may umatake sa'min bigla, eh! Good thing we were from Angelea's(of ANTM) hood! 716! Choz! Sobrang funny lang namin nun, grabe. Next time we go to Katips, we won't commute na! Julius or Carol(one of our friends who wasn't able to come with us that day) must drive already!

The experience was so fun, though. Commuting is fun but you really have to be careful with yourselves. Pero pak na pak pa rin talaga! More fun, exotic and crazy adventures to come pa sana next year! 2012, please be my awesomesaucest year? :"> DDCT

Make my dreams come true *u*

I know my blog is only starting yet and I only have very few readers only(some of them are my friends pa nga). But, I'll still try and do my best to campaign for PENSHOPPE here to help them reach 50K or more followers.

Why am I going to campaign for them?
I guess most of you are aware that PENSHOPPE's newest endorser is Mario Maurer. Besides their collection, I also love their lineup of endorsers, most especially baby Mario. Even though I only still have few posts here, you could already notice how a big Mario Maurer fan I am. My friends I know personally and also in FB & Twitter knows this so well! I have been a big fan since I watched his movie, A Crazy Little Thing Called Love.

A week ago, his PR here in the Philippines, Ms. Joyce Ramirez tweeted this:
PENSHOPPE already reached 30K followers, but still I'm campaigning for #FollowPENSHOPPE because it's now race to 50K! I really want to be one of the TOP INFLUENCERS so please do #FollowPENSHOPPE now!
This is the chance I've been waiting for! I've been telling my close friends that  I really want to see Mario Maurer in person. Sabi ko pa nga, "Kahit mag-extra pa ko sa movie nila ni Erich, gagawin ko basta makita't makalapit lang ako sa kanya!" (Even if I have to be an extra in his movie with Erich, I will do it if that's the only thing I have to do just to meet him and get up close & personal with him) Crazy right? But I think everyone understands how I feel especially towards your idols or artists whom you admire.

I've been wanting to join the bandwagon but I was so scared that all my efforts will be wasted and that I have no chance of winning because there are already a lot of DIE HARD Mario Maurer fans out there who's been campaigning day & night. But one thing I've learned this year is to never lose hope and just do what you have to do in order to achieve what you dream. And so, I've decided right away to campaign for them now. I know, I know. I also think that I might be too late. But it's better late than never, yes?

Hindi ko na talaga papalagpasin 'tong chance na 'to!(I won't let this chance slip away from me anymore) I can feel that this is it! I can finally meet Mario Maurer in person! Pinalagpas ko na 'yung FanCons niya. But I already learned my lesson. This time, I'm gonna do what I have to do. (Kahit super late na. Basta, keribooms pa 'yan!)

So here I am pleading for your support and help make my dream of meeting Mario Maurer in person come true! All you have to do is this:

1) Follow @PENSHOPPE's twitter account
2) Tweet this: "I want to make @theFANshionista's dream come true so I followed @PENSHOPPE #FollowPENSHOPPE @PublicityAsia"
3) Spread the word and help me get to the lucky Top 3 Mario Maurer fans to visit him on the set

That's how easy you could make someone dreams come true! Please do help me on this! For you it might be just a small thing, but for me it really means a lot. You have no idea how much I want to win this!

THANKS IN ADVANCED, LOVES! :*

No matter how small or big your dreams are, it will come true as long as you work hard for it.

PS: Penshoppe is really a nice brand. You should check their stores out! Their ON SALE for up to 70% dicount on selected items from their Pre-Holiday and Holiday collections! What are you waiting for? Go to your nearest PENSHOPPE boutiques already at baka maubusan pa kayo ng nice stuffs! This sale only runs until January 15, 2012.

CDO/Iligan still needs help

Tonight's the first episode of Becky Nights that I was able to watch. Ms. Divine Lee wasn't around though, because she's currently in CDO(or in Iligan ata) reaching out to the victims of typhoon Sendong. But she called the BN crew and told them and the beklings(their viewers) that CDO/Iligan still needs help and that what she had solicited from her friends still wasn't enough. So, she encourages everyone to donate in cash or in kind and to volunteer. Survivors there are in so much need of underwears so if you have spare(not segunda mano, ha) undies in your closet, might as well give those to the ones in need there in CDO and Iligan. And also, here are some ways on how you can donate:

RED CROSS
SMS
Text RED<space>AMOUNT to 2899 (Globe) or 4143 (Smart)

Shopped a few

Although it's our holiday break, I still have schoolworks to do and just thinking about 'em stresses me so much already! So before I lose all of my wits, I went on a stroll at the mall with my sisters and eventually, we shopped. They shopped for gifts for our pamangkins and in-laws while I shopped for myself! Hihihi. It feels so nice to spend! Seriously. Lalo na kung bet na bet mo naman 'yung stuffs na binili mo. I guess this is also what they call retail therapy.

Here are the stuffs I bought earlier on:
#1 Polo shirts from PENSHOPPE
Neat paper bag is so posh-looking!

Fell in love with these polo shirts the first time I laid my eyes on them! Actually, I fell in love with almost everything there in Penshoppe! I wanted to buy everything in their collection! Sadly, I only have few bucks left in my wallet(truth is I'm actually scrimping my money because I have pamangkins and inaanaks to feed haha). But as soon as I get more moolah this Christmas, I'll definitely shop for more Penshoppe goodies! *u*

#2 Olay Men Solutions' Balancing Gel Moisturiser
Ha! I definitely did not thought of scrimping when I bought this Gel Moisturiser! I just wanted to try this out, y'know. I hope this could make my skin more fresh and healthy! Or else, I just wasted my 499Php! Will do a review about this product as soon as I use it. Wait for it!

#3 Garage Magazine's December 2011 ish
What I love about this magazine is their style/fashion guide for men! I feel like I'm always up-to-date with the latest trend every time I read their monthly issue! And, what I love about their December ish is that my baby, Mario Maurer, is on the cover! Garage Mag x Mario Maurer? Definitely a must buy for me! I really wish when he comes back here in the Philippines on 2012, I could get the chance to make him sign this copy, and kiss him and hug him tight! :"> DDCT

Make Blog Not War

Last night, I made a Bucket List! New Year is so near na kasi so I decided to make a list of all the things I want to do before the end of the world I die. 2012 hasn't even started but I've already crossed out one thing on my list, #5 Make a Blog. Hooray!

I really dream to have a blog where I can post anything under the sun! Like my personal experiences, new things I learn, bonding with friends, sharing stuffs that I like and of course making my dreams come true. Hope I could gain some readers to whom I could share this great journey of mine. Who knows I could also gain some friends from here? Oh, the dreams I have for this blog! *u*

We're off to a great start!

Fresh new start

This is already the xth blog that I've made, just so you know. My past blogs were hopeless. I always start off great then all of a sudden I just lose interest in it. And also, I always ran out of ideas to post. Boo me and my busy schedule in school! But right now, with all the bloggers who are keeping me inspired, I will do my best to keep this blog alive and kickin'! I've been doing a lot of blog hopping since our holiday break started and I've read great blogs(like Divine Lee's, Ana Gonzales',  Krissy's of Krissyfied, Camille Co's, Elisa Aquino's and David Guison's to name a few) that made me start a blog of my own AGAIN. And here I am trying to do so! I don't know until when this blog would last, but I can feel that this would carry on wonderfully for years. I just have to remind myself that everyone who are my inspirations right now also started from humble beginnings and where they are now is the product of their passionate work. I really hope this blog and I would go far! *u*

To God be the Glory!
